On June 1 the World Milk Day is celebrated around the world. In 2001, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations decided that June 1 would be the day to pay special attention to milk, its role in the nutrition and the dairy sector as a whole. This year, the World Milk Day celebrates its 20th anniversary!
RSS has compiled interesting facts about the consumption of milk in society, as well as about the accomplishments within the programme “School Milk and Fruit”.
