Pre-school educational institutions and pupils in Latvia (grade 1- 9) participated in the contest “School Milk and Fruit” from December 11, 2017 until February 28, 2018. They gathered experience stories reflecting how the programme “School Milk and Fruit” is being implemented in educational institutions in Latvia. Drawings, collages, video materials, animations – 538 interesting and very creative works were received in total. At present, organizers of the competition – the Rural Support Service of Latvia and the Ministry of Agriculture – are evaluating received works. The winners will be announced on March 26 this year.
The winners of the competition will receive educational games, sets of sports equipment, but the best of the best will gain the opportunity to come to Riga and visit interesting events. If the winners will be citizens of Riga, they will have an opportunity to visit another city of Latvia.
The Rural Support Service of Latvia and the Ministry of Agriculture are very pleased with the great interest of children in this competition!
